Upholstery Cleaning
Did you know that carpet, area rugs, and upholstery act as dust filters in your home? Pretty gross, right?
It's recommended that you have your sofas, chairs, couches, and love seats cleaned 1-2 times a year.
You bring home the day and it all gets collected in your upholstery! Synthetic fabrics such as microfiber are a breeze to clean because the fibers contain wicking properties making it difficult for stains to set in fabric.
Instead, drink spills sit on the surface allowing it to be an extremely easy clean.
Polyester fabric is another synthetic material that is durable and easy to clean. Not only do we clean synthetic fabrics, we also clean natural fabrics such as cotton.
Not sure what material your sofa is made of? Our technicians will easily be able to identify the fabric and give your further advice on cleaning and maintenance.
Your upholstery may appear clean, but you'll be surprised after you see our soil test. You can conduct one yourself. It's simple.
Get a non white bandana (blue and green work fine) and stick it on the end of your vacuum hose.
After that, vacuum flat surfaces of your upholstery and see the results! You may see a large build up of dust and soil on the bandana!
Don't lay down and breathe in these particulates. Have us disinfect and clean your upholstery for you!

Here Is Our Process Of Cleaning Upholstery
1. Pre-vacuum- True Clean of Virginia pride ourselves on vacuuming the dry soluble and dust that are on the top of the dashboard, also in between the
cushions and under so they will not turn to mud on the fabric. Also doing this will aide in getting out any dust or allergens that may reside in the interior fabric.
2. Spot Clean- After the pre-vacuum, we will go through before the actual cleaning to apply a green heated spot cleaner and sanitizer to be more effective with our cleaning. These two combined will always guarantee great cleaning results and also a healthy upholstery for your kids and family.
3. Apply Cleaner and Agitate- After the area has been vacuumed and sanitized we will apply our heated cleaner and allow to dwell. All the areas will be agitated with a brush or commercial upholstery tool to loosen up any dirt or food that may be built up on the floor or seats.
4. Extract- This last step will flush out all the soils and solutions from the upholstery to make it healthy and clean for your kids and family. The upholstery fabric protector will be applied per customer request.
Not sure if you should have your sectionals, sofas or love seats cleaned or replaced?
Our friendly technician will be happy to take a look and determine the best way to have it cleaned!
